AFABW Int Arts Festival Office Grand Opening

July 15th, 2001 – Hollywood: Today was a fun-filled day at 6612 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, California, in celebration of the Grand Opening of the new Arts Festival office for Artists For A Better World International (AFABW Int).

The rear parking lot was transformed into a festive amphitheater with stage, sound system, balloons, lots of brightly covered tables and chairs, as well as a canopy-enclosed buffet. The stage featured a dozen performances from singers, guitar players, poets and a dancer! A gourmet buffet was prepared with ham, turkey, rice, chocolate fondue and much more.

A crowd of musicians, actors, poets, visuals artists, photographers, well-wishers and more enjoyed the entertainment as well as raffle prizes, and a silent art auction.

The Artists For A Better World International office was open for tours throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

The Arts Festival office will be open until after the first annual AFABW International Arts Festival this Fall.

AFABW Int President, George Alger, remarked, “AFABW Int keeps expanding. We welcome men and women of goodwill who wish to perform their art, administer groups, manage event productions or in any way help in the creation of a better world through aesthetics.”
