Bamboo Souls Released

July 31, 2005, Hollywood: Artists For A Better World International announced the release of Bamboo Souls, Poetic Visions Of A Better World. This soft cover poetry compilation includes poems from around the globe.

Poets of any nationality, creed, race, religion or culture were invited to contribute to the creation of a poetry compilation anthology based upon a theme of “peace, tranquility or harmony.”

Executive Producer of the book and president of Artists For A Better World International, George Alger, expressed his respect for all poets, “They carry forward an age-old tradition of aesthetic literature.”

Founder of AFABW Int Jeannette Hay, who was also the cover artist for the book, stated that “Bamboo Souls represents the enduring strength of life growing tall amidst the elements.”

The 47 poems selected from poets in 9 countries offer a diverse insight into the way artists of varying ages, backgrounds, viewpoints and geographies may share a common theme of considering a better world through the words of poetry.
