Life Drawing at the 2010 AFABW Arts Festival (with Video)

October 9, 2010 – Hollywood: “Life drawing” was a featured attraction at this weekend’s Artists For A Better World International 10th annual arts festival. Award-winning painter/illustrator, Ian Espinoza, hosted today’s drawing of live models.

Said Ian, “Figure drawing may be considered as one of the most challenging subjects that artists commonly encounter.” Furthermore, “Today’s workshop attracted newer and experienced artists to hone their skills and to generally have a good time with other artists.”

The workshop attendees used pencil and charcoal to represent the variety of models and poses.

Participant, Jennifer Gill said, “Ian is very insightful and encouraging. I not only polished up my drawing skills, I had a lot of fun.”
