Worldwide Call For Music! African Salvation

June 29, 2004 – Hollywood: Artists For A Better World International is calling musicians and singer/songwriters from around the world to submit music for the creation of an AFABW Int music CD (Working title: African Salvation).

Deadline for submissions is August 15, 2004.

This CD will be released at the AFABW Int benefit concert for African Salvation on March 12, 2005 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The completed CD will be presented to international African Salvation supporters such as community, political, philosophical and spiritual leaders.

African Salvation is being produced to help raise funds for Rwanda and its neighboring African countries via The Association for Better Living (ABLE). Funds will be used for the following:

  • To distribute The Way to Happiness (TWTH) booklet
  • To expand the application of learning skills through Applied Scholastics
  • To rehabilitate criminals via Criminon
  • To rehabilitate drug users via Narconon

African Salvation will include musicians, singers and songwriters from around the world coordinated through AFABW Int, which is a worldwide network of artists who share a vision of creating a better world through aesthetics.

This special African Salvation CD project is open to musicians and singer/songwriters of all religions, nationalities, creeds, races and cultures. In short, any and all who desire to help in the creation of a better world.

Music Submission Criteria

Your music will be considered and may be selected for inclusion within this African Salvation CD along with your name, website, and e-mail. This CD will be available for sale on the Artists For A Better World website on or about November 20th, 2004. (Artists whose work is included within the CD will receive a complimentary copy of the final release).

Music selected for inclusion in the CD will be chosen on the basis of how such supports the spirit of Artists For A Better World International and the theme of African Salvation:

  • Artists For A Better World International is dedicated to building a worldwide network of artists who share a vision of creating a better world through aesthetics.
  • The African Salvation CD theme is one that supports multicultural, uplifting and inspirational ideals.
  • The recordings sent to AFABW Int must be on a broadcast-quality CD to be considered for potential inclusion within this African Salvation CD.
  • Songwriters have the option of submitting a guitar/vocal or piano/vocal demo, in which case if their song is selected for inclusion on the CD, AFABW Int musicians will record it to our specifications. (Please note “Demo” on the Submission Form).

There is a $10.00 donation requested to be considered for inclusion within this African Salvation music CD project ($10.00 for first song submitted and $5.00 for each additional song). If you desire the return of CD’s or any items mailed to AFABW Int please include a postage-paid, self-addressed return envelope with your submission. Donations benefit The Association for Better Living (ABLE) and the production of this CD.

3-Step Submission Checklist:

  1. Select your song(s)
  2. Fill out the online “Music Submission Form” (one form per song)
  3. Mail your CD, a printed copy of your “Music Submission Form” and donation

All submissions postmarked by August 15, 2004 will be considered for inclusion within the African Salvation music CD. However, the earlier the submission, the more consideration it will be given!
